"From Congo Square to Everywhere" is a brilliant retelling the history of New Orleans music from past to present. The live show will take you on a trip through time, beginning with the drum beating of Africans at Congo Square in New Orleans in the 1700's through the birth of Jazz and Ragtime music. The story ends with the exploration of New Orleans sound of today, including HipHop and Bounce. If you enjoy New Orleans music, this production is a must see.

From Congo Square to Everywhere has been a project very near and dear to his heart. Dr. Eugene Oppman, the Executive Director of the Treme Arts Center and proud owner of The Historic Carver Theater, almost realized his dream in the beginning of 2020 when it was slated to begin live performances. Sadly, the pandemic has caused us to temporarily suspend production. However, we are hard at work to make Dr. Oppman's dream a reality at last.
